Once Upon a Time in San Felipe
It's story time....
Once upon a time, there was a very smart, handsome, well-behaved baby who was taken on vacation with his Mommy and Daddy. Mommy and Daddy's friend, Uncle Roger, was there too. This very lucky baby, we'll call him Michael, got awakened at 3:00 am and put into his car seat for a VERY long drive. (Don't worry folks, this isn't a ghost story!) Michael behaved himself reasonably well despite the 10+ hours in the car. Finally, this fortunate tot arrived in beautiful, sunny San Felipe. There was a sailboat race awaiting this boy - well, actually it was awaiting Uncle Roger, who was sailing, and Michael's Mommy and Daddy who were the official beach crew.

This little boy, Michael, had the easiest job of all in San Felipe. His job was to soak up the sun and play in this new, messy substance called sand.

Remember I said that this little Michael was a lucky boy? Well, recently he moved to a place called Alameda and his new house is right on the water. He has developed a fondness for watching boats from his deck. Well, you should've seen the boats in San Felipe! Michael was in baby heaven!

Michael also enjoyed cheering on Uncle Roger in his first official sailboat race. It was a little hard for a tyke like him to spot Uncle Roger's small blue boat, but when he did he was sure proud. Michael started dreaming of a day when he could play on a sailboat...

All of this fun in the sun and sailboat watching can make a fella hungry. Once again, our little hero was very blessed - he got to eat cheese quesadillas for every meal! One especially lucky day, Michael was visited by some very pretty Mexican ladies who thought he was awfully cute. They made quite a fuss over our boy.

This made Michael feel very good about himself. (An aside from the "real" Michael: I REALLY liked these girls! Daddy and Uncle Roger claimed that I got "the baby equivalent of a lap dance". Mommy isn't sure she likes this analogy. Whatever it was, I liked it!)

Finally, it was time for the baby and his Mommy, Daddy, and Uncle Roger to go home. The morning dawned beautiful and bright, inspiring the boy's Mommy and Daddy to take some pictures to remember this beautiful place. (until next year that is!)

Everyone arrived home safely, after another VERY long drive and they all lived happily ever after - especially Michael. The End.

Oh my gawd. He looks exactly like Chris. Not in the lap dance picture (I'm sure Chris has never had one of those;), but in the pictures below. What a lucky boy (to look like his daddy and to get to go to Mexico)!
Already a "lady killer". Gonna be a handful all his life! Everybody better stay in great physical shape in order to keep up with this little fireball.
BEAUTIFUL pictures! He's a lucky boy - but I must ask: did he ride down to San Felipe in Ol' Red? Just wondering...
Hello Chris and Andie. I just found this link on Meredith’s blog. This may be a little late but congrats on the baby boy, he sure is a cute one. Nice pics of the young player in action. It’s sad that once us guys have the ultimate pick-up tool (aka, the baby) we can’t use it.
I've never seen a baby with such luck! He's a super star in the making... look, he's even shooing off the paparattzi (sp?)in one photo!
